Please review the simple guidelines regarding the usage of our free open-source calculator utility.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the BillSplitter web application, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the tool.
2. Permitted Use
This application is offered completely free of charge for personal and non-commercial calculations. You may use it to split dinner receipts, vacation overheads, shared utility balances, or roommate household bills.
You agree not to exploit the OCR engine or receipt scanner by sending malicious files, running scraping scripts, or attempting to flood client-side resources.

While our settle-up engine is designed to be highly accurate, mathematical rounding variances (such as splitting odd pennies) may occur. Always verify final figures before initiating actual financial transactions or bank transfers.
5. Limitation of Liability
In no event shall BillSplitter or its developers be held liable for any financial losses, transaction errors, or disputes that arise from calculated values or payment instructions generated by the tool.
